Antioxidants found in apples may protect against oxidative brain damage, a major cause of age-related memory loss. Although the Uni-versity of Massachusetts finding was based on experiments using mice, scientists speculate that the benefits probably apply to humans.
The mice ate the human equivalent of two to four apples a day, or 2 to 3 cups of apple juice.
