WHEN IT COMES to fitness trackers, Garmin is hard to beat. There are plenty to choose from within the brand’s lineup, but we’re big fans of the Garmin Instinct 3 here at Men’s Health. It’s sturdy, has a great GPS system, and the battery life is more than impressive. It’s already one of the mid-priced Garmin options, usually retailing at about $449. But because it’s Amazon Prime Day, it’s looking more affordable. Down 33%, this editor-favorite is now at $300. That’s $150 off its original price for those who need the quick math.

We actually crown this beast as the Garmin with the "Best Battery Life" on our official Men's Health roster, and for good reason. Garmin claims it lasts 18 days, but when our team put it through the ringer, the watch survived 21 days on a single charge. If you’re the type who constantly forgets to plug your tech in before hitting getting out there, a quick 10-minute juice-up gives you enough gas to get out the door.

Outside of its impressive lifespan, it’s important to note that this thing is built like a tank. Our testers have accidentally slammed it into door frames and scraped it against heavy kettlebells during workouts, and it didn't take a single scratch. It’s got a rugged build to it, a solid 45mm frame, and 100 meters of water resistance.

If you're into hiking, backcountry trail runs, or just like being prepared, it's packed with a built-in multi-level flashlight (complete with a stealthy red-light mode), hyper-accurate multi-band GPS, a digital compass, and real-time environment sensors. Plus, it keeps tabs on your vitals, tracking everything from your sleep stress and HRV to your blood oxygen levels.

Bottom line: it’s tough, it never dies, and right now, it’s cheap for Prime Day. A Garmin priced right under 300 bucks is a steal if you ask me.
