But in our opinion, LEGO is the best buy, because not only is the finished product a cool replica you can keep, but you also get the fun experience of assembling it—which is sort of how we can justify the splurgy price point on some of these wow-factor sets.
These elevated kids can be really elaborate, but you don't need to be a Jedi master to put them together: They come with step-by-step assembly instructions that even a young Padawan can follow. There are highly detailed sets, like the coveted Millennium Falcon and AT-AT, or simpler models of famous ships and helmets to get you started on your LEGO journey.
