Being Gordon Ramsay has officially dropped on Netflix, following the celebrity chef as he embarks on his latest culinary venture and offering a rare glimpse into his personal life and family over six months

The six-part docu-series, released on 18 February, follows the highs and lows of the celebrity chef as he attempts his biggest project yet, five culinary experiences at the top of 22 Bishopsgate in London. Alongside his business project, the series also looks at his family life, marriage to wife Tana, and an emotional look into his relationship with younger brother Ronnie.

Despite the show's popularity, however, Ramsay has admitted that he hasn’t actually seen it himself.

Speaking to Hits Radio, the 59-year-old explained that he hasn’t actually seen his own docu-series, claiming he doesn’t want to "obsess" about the way he comes across.

"I’ll be honest, I haven’t seen it because I never want to be that sort of little delicate, dainty soul that wants to obsess on how he looks, how he comes across," he said.

He added that the past year has been "the most challenging 12 months of our entire lives", and that attempting the project at 22 Bishopsgate has been a "huge commitment".

Alongside his business ventures, Ramsay opened up in the documentary about his younger brother Ronnie, who has a heroin addiction.

Speaking about their relationship in the doc, Ramsay explained that he has a "guilt complex" about his younger brother’s addiction, explaining that it "could have been me".

"I’ve gone to hell and back with him," Ramsay admitted in the series.

Ronnie does not feature in the Netflix series, nor do two of Gordon’s children, Megan and Jack, due to their jobs and schedules.
