Harry Styles has access to the best clothes in the world, from custom Celine trainers for his One Night in Manchester concert to Prada pieces made specifically for his music videos. With a super stylist and most designers on speed dial, he can land pretty much anything he wants. That being said, the pop megastar isn't precious about his everyday wear. Case in point: when it comes to his mid-week, run-around-town trainers, the guy's all about a budget-friendly (and mega-comfortable) design.
Off the back of the release of his fourth studio album, Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally, Styles was photographed with his girlfriend Zoë Kravitz in New York City. His outfit was typical for the singer: a Prada jacket, jeans, and a pair of Thistles NYC sunglasses. On his feet, however, he sported a pair of Adidas trainers – not top-of-the-range kicks from one of those mega-luxe brands that cost a small fortune, but a very affordable style.
He wore the 2023 iteration of the classic Samba, called the Decon – a lighter and more comfortable version of the OG Samba, which was introduced in the 1940s as a sturdy indoor football shoe. While retaining the classic T-shaped toe box and Three Stripes, the Decon features a flimsier heel that can be folded down, allowing it to be worn as a backless shoe. Styles has long been a fan of the low-fi Samba design, and they've been a part of his sneaker rotation for a solid couple of years.
The good news? The shoes, which Styles also wore for his surprise cameo on Saturday Night Live this weekend, are currently on sale for £94.99 at sneaker site Consortium. Run, don't walk.
