The 5 Best Blenders to Buy in 2026, According to Our Editors

We found the Ninja 2-in-1 to be the best blender you can buy

VerifiedReviewed by Fitness and Reviews Editor

Blenders can be used for so much more than just pulverising chunks out of your protein shake or smoothie. In fact, a good blender can create the perfect margarita, a seriously silky green smoothie, and even homemade peanut butter. A bad one will leave you with a sad, lumpy concoction.

Best Blenders

When it comes to spending on a blender, there are plenty of solid buys that don't cost two weeks' worth of groceries. But one must also consider the ability to blend the ingredients you're looking to blend, the long-term durability (including the warranty), its ability to be cleaned, how noisy it is, and the capacity and how you'll store it. Looking for a blender just to mix up your whey protein powder in water before or after a workout? Maybe a portable blender can do the trick. Or, are you really trying to add in a kitchen tool to help you make lots of different meals? In that case, it might be worth getting one that can blend just about anything.

We've been testing blenders in the real world for years and years, and all our constant hands-on experience and unending research has led us to proclaim that these are the eight best blenders you can buy right now.

    What to Consider

    Power & Arrangement

A blender is only as good as the quality of shakes, smoothies, and anything it produces, thus determining how often you’ll actually use it. And this can mean getting a blender with a little more oomph to ensure your drink is properly whipped up, and why wattage matters. This means you’ll likely want to look for motors with 1000–1500+ watts (all but two of our picks fall within this range: our budget and portable options) for crushing ice, frozen fruit, and nuts. The more power, the more RPMs it will produce, helping to create a smoother blend.

    Blade Design

Another aspect you may want to consider is the design of the blades, as not all are created equal. Stainless steel blades are a must, but the blade geometry matters too. Different blades can serve better for different functions, like chopping, blending, mixing, and pureeing. What this means is you’ll see single blades (ideal for puréeing), X-shaped cross blades (commonly known as extractors), S-shaped blades, Wing-shaped blades (great for ice crushing), and spiral-shaped blades.

    Durability & Warranty

When making an investment in any device like a blender, a warranty is always a great thing to confirm. A one-year warranty should be a bare minimum, and many of our picks in this guide have warranties much longer (including up to 10 years). Additionally, looking for canister materials like BPA-free plastic can drastically increase durability. Also, look at the company's return policy, as some have a 'no questions asked' policy.

    Ease of Cleaning

Grabbing a blender that will save you time and effort is a must. Many blenders are made with self-cleaning cycles and dishwasher-safe containers — though keep in mind that self-cleaning doesn’t always get things 100 percent clean inside the container. Another great feature is finding one with a wide-mouth pitcher for deep cleaning, and if the blades are detachable, you’ll be able to clean out even the hardest-to-reach places.

    Noise Level

Yes — don’t forget to keep in mind the noise level of the model you are looking at, especially if you have a family, roommates, or don’t want to feel like you’re firing up a lawnmower every morning you blend up a smoothie. Tons of models have sound-dampening tech and whisper-quiet motors, while still providing more than enough power.

    Capacity & Counter Footprint

For guys with smaller abodes or less kitchen counter-top space, bigger is not always better. Plenty of brands make high-performance compact models with power that punches well above their weight class. Not only that, but a good number of models also come with multiple-size pitchers, so you can swap out larger containers for smaller ones. Keep in mind how much room you have to store a blender, though — do you want it to live on your countertop or do you want it in a cabinet to be pulled out every time you want to use it?

    Smart Features & Presets

While not an exact necessity, having the capability to set it and forget it is kind of clutch. So many blenders that are available on the market today integrate smart tech like pre-programmed cycles (smoothies, ice crush, soup, purée), app integration, and even digital timers. Load ‘em up, push start, and let the blender do all the work.

    How We Chose

I've been using blenders for years to whip up anything from smoothies to protein shakes to delicious snacks or meals. To start for this guide, I leaned on my hands-on experience with the models I've used and also consulted Men's Health editors on which models have been their favourites of the years. I gathered all our expert insights and testing notes, then did some thorough research reading reviews to determine a list of blenders we wanted to consider for this guide.

From there, we got our hands on the models on that list that we'd yet to test out ourselves. The blenders were put through their paces with daily protein shake blends, leafy green smoothies, high-intensity mixes like making peanut butter, testing portability of some models while blending in the office, and even a few margaritas for happy hours.

During all this testing, we evaluated each blender on its capacity, noise level, storability, ease of use, and how well it blended all kinds of ingredients. With dozens of hours spent blending and mixing, here are the best blenders you can buy 2026.

    Ninja 2-in-1 Blender with Auto-IQ

    Ninja 2-in-1 Blender with Auto-IQ

    Pros

    • Powerful
    • Great value
    • Removable blade makes it easy to clean
    • Super easy to use

    Cons

    • Loud
    • May require hand mixing at times
    • Takes up significant counter space

Taking the crown for best overall, this Ninja packs it all together, starting with its power output, which ramps up to 1,200 watts. When combined with a relatively good price point, the bang for your buck is the best around. One favourite aspect we love about this model is the Auto-IQ smart presets of smoothie, frozen treats, and ice crush — probably the three most common blends most will use. This automates all the blending and pulsing each individual mix requires, allowing it to come out with the same consistency each and every time. In some instances our tester found this feature to not work as effective as the regular speed settings though.

Its massive 21-litre pitcher allows you to mix up to 1.9-litres worth of liquid for even the largest of post-workout smoothies, while its perfectly balanced tri-blade easily emulsifies everything: ice, veggies, fruit, nuts, and powders in less than a minute. While this beastly unit is an absolute workhorse, it does have a slight drawback with a loud motor, especially when crushing ice. Another thing to keep in mind is that it can have a harder time with leafy greens, and some powders can lump a bit, requiring longer mix times or manual stirring at the bottom. Lastly, the large jar means it's a bit bulky and not super easy to store — those with little counter space take note.

All that said, it's easy dishwasher-safe cleanup and high performance for £120 (on sale) is extremely hard to find in a blender. Which is why we think it's the best for most people looking for a dependable blender that can do just about everything you'll need it to.

    Mighty Blender 850

    Pros

    • Wallet-friendly
    • Compact design
    • Simple one-button operation
    • Great for small spaces
    • Travel lid

    Cons

    • Needs careful cleaning in grooves
    • Not ideal for large batches
    • Only the Plus model offers different vessel sizes

Bigger isn’t always better, and the compact Beast Mighty 850 proves just that. This thing quite literally is a beast. Even with its smaller build, it blends with the best of them, able to make shakes to salad dressings and crush ice quite well. We’re definitely fans of the ease of operation, with its one-button functionality. Simply tap for pulse-mode or press-and-hold for a quick one-minute blend that pauses to ensure everything is perfectly blended.

'I was impressed at how well it blended everything for such a small unit. It packs a lot of power without taking up a lot of room on my kitchen counter,' stated our tester. This blender is perfect for life-on-the-go, as it comes with a travel lid, and an option for lid and straw. Our tester did also mention that 'It’s pretty easy to clean. You need to be sure that you clean the interior ribs well to be sure that nothing is caught in the grooves.' For single-serve shakes at a fraction of the cost, this Beast Mighty is not a drain on your wallet.

The portable lids make it easy to take your creations on the go. The only real watch-out is making sure you scrub the interior ribs well during cleanup. For small kitchens or quick, single-serve blends, the Beast Mighty is an excellent, budget-friendly choice.

    Best Multi-Purpose Blender

    Nutribullet Ultra Plus +

    Nutribullet Ultra Plus +

    Pros

    • Powerful enough for ice, nuts, and frozen fruit
    • Compact
    • Dishwasher-safe parts
    • User-friendly
    • Suction-cup design

    Cons

    • Short power cord
    • Single-serve focus limits batch size

The OG that set the gold standard for personal blenders, Nutribullet revolutionised the way we made shakes by making it easy and accessible for everyone to do, and this Ultra Plus+ continues on with that tradition. With this model, you can easily blend smoothies, frozen fruit, grind coffee beans, and dice up some chopped veggies with the food processor.

One of our testers even stated, 'the Ultra has no issues with any ingredients; it chops up the ingredients that other blenders might struggle to with ease. Ice. Frozen fruit. Whole nuts'. They even noted they were 'blown away by how easy it was,' to make creamy peanut butter. Where previous models fell a little short, the Ultra steps it up in terms of its locking system, making sure no mess seeps out in the process, while the glowing display adds a much more modern touch.

Another upgrade from previous models is the suction-cup base, which ensures you no longer have to hold it in place while the Bullet does its magic. While we did find the cord to be a bit on the shorter side, the ease of use and performance more than makes up the slight setback.

Sage the Fresh & Furious Blender

Sage the Fresh & Furious Blender

    Pros

    • Two classic colours
    • Kinetix smooth blending
    • Quiet
    • Easy-to-use presets

    Cons

    • Less power than top-tier models
    • Smaller capacity pitcher

If you’re looking for a blender as unique as you are, the Breville is the way to go with its two colour options. While it looks great mixing up your concoctions, it performs just as stylish as it looks, thanks to its powerful 1,100-watt motor that can easily cut through ice, yet tackles greens just the same. The thing that separates it from the others is its unique blade system, dubbed the 'Kinetix' which acts like a blade sitting on top of a bowl, essentially pulling the ingredients downward as it spins to ensure everything is evenly and thoroughly mixed.

Another thing that’s noticeable with this model is how quietly it operates, especially for such a high-powered blender. It features presets including ice crushing, green smoothies (needed for leafy greens), and normal powder-based smoothies. While it’s not as powerful as the Vitamix models, it gives you ample wattage yet looks good in any kitchen.

    Best Mid-Tier Blender

    KitchenAid K400 Blender

    K400 Blender

    Pros

    • Strong blending power for greens and frozen fruit
    • Solid and stable base
    • Multiple speeds and presets
    • Relatively affordable

    Cons

    • Heavier than many blenders
    • Slightly noisier than average

Combining classic blender aesthetics with well above average blending power capabilities, the KitchenAid K400 is a premium mid-tier pick with a wallet-friendly price tag. Topping out at 1,200 watts and a unique asymmetrical blade setup, this blender creates a vortex-like funnel that mixes up everything for a smooth and silky blend. It works wonders for green smoothies, especially for those who love adding in spinach, kale, and other greens, and even frozen fruit. While other mid-range blenders may leave a gritty texture, this bad boy does not.

This model has three quick presets for ice crush, smoothies, and icy drinks, as well as a traditional pulse mode. It’s also a rock-solid unit made from die-cast metal, ensuring the base is steady during high-speed blends with heavier ingredients. While that makes it heavier than some competitors and not quite as quiet, the K400’s build quality and performance make it a worthy mid-tier pick.
