Cancer research is starting to heat up. Capsaicin -- the chemical that makes hot peppers hot -- kills prostate cancer, report UCLA scientists. The researchers uncovered the finding when they injected cancer cells into mice, then fed them the human equivalent of 400 milligrams of capsaicin daily -- the amount in eight habanero peppers.
