Welcome to MH Style Gains, where the Men’s Health Style Team finds the best new menswear releases of the month so you can look and feel your best.

March has been a slow thaw. Longer days, slightly warmer temps give just enough momentum to snap out of winter mode. To shake off my seasonal slump, I’ve been scouring the market for the best new menswear drops. This month: easy-to-throw on layers, handsome-improving accessories, and workout clothes that look as great as they perform. We also threw in some elevated men’s basics to work into your spring office rotation. Read on for our picks.

American menswear brand Todd Snyder linked up with British watchmaker Aera to drop one of the coolest new tickers on both sides of the Atlantic. It’s designed after Aera’s D-1 Diver, a cult favorite among watch enthusiasts, and comes in “Blackout” and “Whiteout” colorways. While the former sold out quickly, you can still shop the latter, which has a minimalist vibe and a titanium case that can take a serious licking, making it a great warm weather watch.

Fashion genius JW Anderson took a break from his day job at Dior to create a line of elevated-yet-affordable basics for Uniqlo. My favorite is this quarter zip pullover, which feels like my favorite college hoodie, but has a slightly tailored fit that’s dressy enough to throw on at the office.

Originally dropped in 2009 as a running shoe, Brooks brought it back from the archives and reworked as an every sneak. The standout: its updated DNA cushioning—a nitrogen-infused midsole that adapts to your stride—so it feels comfortable enough to stand all day in.

This British swimwear label has consistently hit the top of our best swim trunks guides for its luxe-yet-durable fabrics that justify their sticker shock, and its latest collection is no exception. This seersucker collection hits mid-thigh for most guys, and its vertical flights make it super flattering for short kings.

Anytime Bandit–arguably the coolest running brand in NYC right now–drops something new, it’s worth paying attention. This micromesh tank is exactly why: insanely lightweight, breathable, and cut with that clean, slightly cropped silhouette that looks just as good post-run as it does mid-workout.

Unpredictable spring weather means you need a good shell jacket. Year after year, The North Face has been making some of the coolest ones. Its latest Hke Jacket has all the trappings you want in outerwear–GORE-TEX membrane, a windproof hood–and comes with paneled detailing and a relaxed fit that looks good on the trails as it does in the city.

Prep style is everywhere these days to the point of overexposure, but J.Press is the most interesting disruptor in the space right now. This rugby shirt shows why. It leans into bold mountain stripes and a relaxed fit that’s 2026 without losing that Ivy vibe.

Italian sunglasses brand Persol just brought back the same shades Steve McQueen wore in the ’60s—reissued and slightly tweaked, but still featuring the foldable frame, keyhole bridge, and thick acetate build. It looks just as sharp now as it did back then.

I turn to this NYC brand for solid, no-BS basics that deliver quality especially at its (relatively affordable) price point. This car coat is classic, easy to throw over everything, and hits a sartorial middle ground between dress-ed up and casual. Love the lightweight fabric that still holds its shape, make it ideal for when the weather can’t make up its mind.

Guys might know Steve Madden best for its Wolf of Wall Street era, but the brand has seriously leveled up its men’s lineup in the past year. This sneakily stylish sneak has a chunky sole with breathable mesh, synthetic overlay, and contrast paneling—without the crazy price tag. It goes toe-to-toe with those legacy mall brands in both style and quality, but feels fresher.

Leave it to Tommy to make a chino you can wear just about anywhere. This one’s part of the New York Label line, so it leans a little dressier—clean front crease, straight fit, and a smooth cotton blend with stretch. It looks good with everything in your closet, from T-shirts to blazers.

With the Masters coming up, golf style is at the top of our minds. TravisMathew is still one of our go-tos, especially for comfort. They took what works in their polos and brought it to this hoodie. It’s so lightweight and soft, you’ll want to wear it way beyond the course.

Outerknown is all about doing basics better, and its new jeans are no exception. They’ve got a classic straight fit with a worn-in feel right out of the gate, plus they’re infused with stretch which make them great for traveling.

There aren’t a whole lot of things that go with everything—but Ray-Ban Wayfarers are one of them. The latest Wayfarers come with an extra layer of cool, as musician and actor A$AP Rocky has remodeled a pair as part of his own new signature line. His sunglasses have a slightly thicker frame and come in a variety of different colorways, but it’s hard to go wrong with the black on black classic. You can rock these in a t-shirt and shorts, in a suit, or anything in between, and you’re always going to look damn cool.

I love this chunky varsity sweater for its throwback feel Rowing Blazers’ is best known. The roomy fit makes it easy to layer, but it really shines by the water—over a tee, with shorts or jeans.

Thom Browne on a retro runner? Say less. This collab takes the late-2000s silhouette and sharpens it with his signature precision—clean white uppers, subtle red-white-and-blue hits, and tailored-feeling paneling that makes it feel more like a fashion piece than a gym shoe.

The johnny collar polo is my go-to style for date nights, and Bugatchi makes the best one right now. This version has a soft, breathable knit the Italian brand’s famous for, and its subtle texture that adds depth and makes you look more put together.
