MIKE TYSON IS still very much involved in the boxing world, but he’s also splitting his time between running his cannabis company and gear line, hosting his wildly-popular podcast, and dabbling in acting. Most recently, the 57-year-old starred in Sean Penn's Black Flies, a film that received rave reviews at Cannes this year. In other words: Iron Mike stays busy. Here, the former heavyweight champ shares his six essentials, from his favorite boxing gloves to the razor he uses to keep his head smooth and shiny.

Tyson’s grooming hack for keeping his head smooth? Women’s razors. “Schick Intuition,” he says. “What ladies use for their legs I use for my head. I like how the razor lathers."
Tyson loves a good machine-washable couch blanket. “I sleep on the couch a lot, and then I get up in the middle of the night and get in bed with my wife.”
Only the best wrist candy for his famous fists: For special occasions, he breaks out an intricate 44mm Swiss Bovet watch in rose gold with an open dial. “I don’t like wearing it a lot, though, because I’m reckless with jewelry,” he says.
It’s a no-brainer: The athlete’s favorite gloves are from his own line. “I always wear my gloves when I’m hitting the bag. It’s a big part of my [personal] life.”
To look sharp on the red carpet and for TV appearances, Tyson relies on suits from celeb favorite David August. He orders everything custom from the L.A.–based tailor.
“I like shoes that make me look taller,” says the five-foot-ten Tyson. His current favorite pair? The all-white Balenciaga Triple S sneakers. “They are very comfortable.”
