Snacks
A child’s metabolism incinerates energy bars. Kids (and you) need snacks that sustain. Grylls likes nutsand dates. Boring? Maybe. Satisfying? Absolutely.
First Aid Kit
“Most basic first aid kits are rubbish,” Grylls says. “Make your own and include adhesive bandages, antiseptic wipes, antibacterial ointment, ibuprofen, eye drops, and tweezers.”
Yes, rope. “There’s so much you can do with it,”he says, “from games, learning skills, climbing, river adventures, raft building, exercise….”
