tHE WORLD CUP officially kicks off today, and though it feels like we’ve been waiting for, say, 32 years, time really did fly. No, I didn’t pull that number out of thin air—that’s quite literally the amount of time that’s passed since the U.S. last hosted the event. I was two.

2026 FIFA World Cup tickets are at historic highs. Resellers are even listing tickets for the finals as high as $2 million. A little out of my tax bracket, to put it lightly.

Nonetheless, we’re always on the lookout for creative, cost-effective ways to celebrate the event from the comfort of our own man cave. Some of our favorite brands have similarly geared up for the event of the decade, and we’ve made note of it. We highlighted some of our favorite gear—including the official 2026 USMNT World Cup kits—in honor of the big event. Let the games begin.

Our Favorite World Cup Merch

As promised, we’ll kick off (both literally and figuratively) with the same jersey that Team USA will be wearing during their home matches. The new jerseys are made with Nike’s new Aero-fit material, which is essentially a hybrid open and closed mesh-zone knit that dries up to 200 percent faster than Nike’s standard performance clothes. These come in a little more relaxed fit than the ones the pros will wear—perfect for all-day snacking and armchair coaching.

I’m a little biased towards the away jersey. Nike took a simple yet sleek approach, and the darker colorway is a little more menacing—perfect for the away team. I scooped this one up when Nike first dropped them, and it’s just as breathable as advertised. The fit is also perfect; not too tight and not too baggy. Can’t wait to break it out.

Get in on the action with your own World Cup-coded soccer ball. It’s available in sizes 4 and 5, and it’s probably the closest you’ll ever get to playing in a World Cup. It’s still not a bad place to hang your hat.

Ditch the fanny pack and go for something that’s virtually indestructible. If you managed to snag tickets to the event, this is an absolute must-have. Pelican makes some of the most durable gear out there, and they recently dropped a World Cup edition of their best-selling Micro Case. It’s stadium-approved and can fit your phone, keys, wallet, and whatever other essentials you can think of in one place.

If you’re more of a collector, you can go even smaller with this Mini Ball set from Adidas. It boasts some of the most legendary designs of historically great teams, and it’s a genuine grail piece for soccer historians or sports buffs in general.

You don’t have to pick sides. This T-shirt features Abercrombie’s renowned premium heavyweight fabric, and it’s the ideal merch to rock to represent the tournament as a whole. It features small printed graphics on the front, and a bigger (and more fun) graphic on the back. There are a few designs to choose from, and you can get city-specific ones as well. The oversized, relaxed fit is built for all-day comfort. You can rock it with virtually anything and look the part.

Speaking of collectors, you don’t have to be a Lego purist to enjoy this collector’s piece. If you don’t want to shell out the coin for a replica jersey, this is the next best thing. It makes for the perfect display piece, and for $25, we’d call it a complete steal.

Lego has a few FIFA-inspired sets coming out, and this replica FIFA World Cup Trophy is a legitimate grail piece. It’s packed with authentic details, and it’s a cool knick-knack to add to your trophy collection. Sure, you didn’t technically contribute to a World Cup win, but the 2,800+ piece set is challenging enough for a reward.

If you want to rock a more subtle, distinguished look for the World Cup, Croatia fans in particular will love Mackage’s World Cup collection. Though it is technically a team Croatia collab, it’s a great way to show your support for the tournament in general. Style points, of course, are always a bonus. If you’re planning on attending a match, their rainwear is a must.

You can subtly show off your team pride with these exclusive Air Force 1s, which feature an embroidered Team USA crest on the back. The rest of the shoe is pretty straightforward, but the crest is a nice touch, and the midnight navy Nike swish goes perfectly with the USMNT Away jersey.

Adidas Italy Soccer Cap

We’re deviating from the USMNT a bit here, but this is a must-have for Italy fans. It utilizes the team’s away colors for a bright, fashion-forward look that’s sure to turn some heads. You can also opt for the home colors if you want something a little more subdued. Other countries and styles are available on Adidas’ site as well, but this just happened to be my favorite.

If you’re going to wear a World Cup-inspired fit, you need the accessories to match. We recommend this Rosencrans USA Watch from Skechers. They make some of our favorite comfort-first gear, and the watch’s blue silicon strap fits the bill. The sleek white case is made out of a durable PC and stainless steel material—in other words, Skecher’s usual blend of form and function.

We’re all about our health here, but to quote Shakespeare, what’s in a name? In all seriousness, we’d be lying if we said we’re not going to enjoy a few adult beverages during the monumental event. This World Cup pint glass/trophy gift set is the ideal way to do so. We’d suggest a low-carb beer; we’ll be here for a while. Drink up.
